"Whippet" Style Collar Leash 11-/2" collar - CLEARANCE

CLEARANCE Fits 11-/2" neck. Ideal alternative to a choke collar training leash or for everyday use with any breed with a long, smooth neck such as Whippets, Boxers, Vizlas, many hounds, smooth-coated terriers or Dalmatians that require the support of a wide, padded collar or dogs with long fur like Bearded Collies or Papillons. Wide martingale collars are lined with microsuede and fasten to the leash with acetal buckles. Collar measures 2” (50mm) wide in the center of the neckpiece and taper to 1” (25mm) wide on the sides. The leash section is made of 1” (25mm) soft-touch tubular nylon climbing webbing. A sliding plastic 'stopper" makes it quick and easy to tighten the collar after sliding over your dog’s head or to remove the collar. NOTE: A properly fitted martingale collar should be comfortably loose when there is no tension on the leash. When a dog pulls, the martingale collar will tighten to the dog's actual neck with buckles either touching or slightly apart. Measuring your Dog's Neck: To choose a collar size, measure around the thickest part of your dog’s neck behind the ears - a fabric tape measure or a string works best - or measure your dog's current collar from end to end (closed).
