Connect-a-Tug

These have been great for turning an ordinary toy into a much more interesting toy. I've been using these to attach to another toy to train my dog to fetch. He's more likely to bring the toy back to me when he knows there's a game of tug before dropping the toy!

I own 5 of these. I use to attach to soft toys as I have springers with soft mouths and they are not strong tuggers. Also use to give some added length to a tug toy.

This turns almost any toy into a tug toy and protects your shoulder! My dog loves to tug on her ball (like the one in the photo). With the Connect-a-Tug I don't have to worry about injuring my shoulder. I purchased this with the fur sample pack, which made it possible for me to really test out which fur my dog liked best. I strongly recommend this for developing tuggers as it give you the flexibility to be creative.

I bought 2 of the short versions to create tugs from a holee roler ball like in the photo. I've used it a lot for tug, toy switch and retrieving. I got the shorter version so it wouldn't drag on the ground when my golden retriever carried it. It is a great length for that and after a few weeks of daily use, these are holding up really well.

I LOVE the Connect-a-Tug. My dogs love it too! With this I can make almost any toy into a perfect tug toy.
