Claire’s Border Terriers are some of our best small dog toy testers. These feisty, powerful tuggers prefer real fur and Rory and her Sheepy ring go together like a squirrel and trees. She loves this toy! We wrap 7/8" (22mm) thick, 100% vegetable tanned sheep shearling fur around 3/4” (19mm) heavy duty polypropylene webbing and secure with multiple stitch lines. This interactive toy offers a mouth-hold for your dog and a handhold for you and folds to fit in your pocket. The circular design lets you toss it like a disc and it throws better than many single-handle tug toys. Measures 8” (20cm) in diameter. Machine wash cold water, hang to dry. Salty Dog toys are designed only for interactive play with your dog. Supervise your dog at all times. They are not designed for chewing.

My dogs love this toy
It's a decent size, easy to toss, large enough but not too large that my sheltie doesn't trip over it when carrying it. Although she tends to flip it upward so her face is in the center of the ring. The sheep is desirable for the dogs and they want to chase and grab it. Even if I leave as a dead toy and send them to it they enjoy retrieving this toy. It's strong and has been good for tugging.

We love this. My dog is a very powerful tugger and this allows me to get a good grip. And not to hard to fold and tuck into my waistband or pocket.

6-month-old Malinois puppy tested and approved! Bought this because I was looking for a toy that could be tossed and caught/fetched as well as hold up to a vigorous tugging session once retrieved. This is great to hold, durable, and fits nicely into a pocket - love it!
