Description

Forest, an Australian cattle dog, competes in tracking and his mom wanted a custom toy that combines tugging, squeaking and food rewards. “It’s made a huge difference,” says Cassia. “He can eat from it, squeak it (turn up the sound to hear the squeaker in the video), retrieve and play tug.” Treat section measures 6" x 3-1/2" (15cm x 9cm)  and has a waterproof liner and rounded corners so food doesn't collect and makes cleaning easy. After each use, just rinse the inner liner with dish detergent and water and let air dry overnight. Or machine wash, cold water and hang to dry. A 3” (7.6cm) pouch holds 2 squeakers (1 included). Velcro pull-open top allows quick access to treats or squeaker. Our GRIP ULTRA bungee inserted in the webbing has three times the resistance than standard bungee giving you the maximum shock absorption when working with powerful tuggers. The treat section is large enough for small and medium sized or narrow nosed dogs. Measures 24” (61cm) overall and stretches to 34” (86cm). Custom colors available. Salty Dog treat bags are designed only for interactive play with your dog. Supervise your dog at all times. They are not designed for chewing.

The difference in him is unbelievable!

Posted by Elisa F. on 2020 Dec 22nd

Almost a year ago PaCe lost his bark alert for wilderness searching. While training in disaster searches this summer we were able to get his bark alert back. However, in the wilderness, with the person visible and accessible, he would not care to bark. He would happily search and find the person but casually sit beside them. Thank you to his love for his new "special" toy, it has brought the frustration and want for the toy/ person back. He now barks in wilderness as well. Amazing!

    It’s made a huge difference

We only use it for tracking at the end of his track, so the camo colour is perfect as it blends in. It’s great because he eats (I open it so he can self serve when he gets to the end) then we play. It’s awesome because he can eat, squeak, tug and retrieve. Once the food is gone he is super excited to keep playing and squeak and tug!
